Clip Vault

In development — Clipboard history that stays yours.

Privacy

Nothing hidden in the permissions dialog

Here is every permission Clip Vault requests, why it needs it, where your data goes, and whether any of it involves an account or our servers.

What it asks for, and why

Where your data goes

  • Clipboard contentsstays on your device

Planned to be encrypted and stored locally on your device only. Final data practices will be published here before launch.

Accounts and what runs on our serversNo account needed

Clipboard contents are about as sensitive as browser data gets — passwords, tokens and half-written messages all pass through it. We have therefore designed Clip Vault with no account and no server component, and we do not intend to offer clipboard sync. If that ever changes, it would be end-to-end encrypted, strictly opt-in, and announced here before it shipped rather than after.

No server component. Nothing to sync, nothing to sign in to.

Clip Vault is on the way

Tell us you want it and we will email you the moment it lands in the store. One email, then nothing else.
